This blog will serve as my journal while being a member of SANAE 51. (South African National Antarctic Expedition)
SANAE has kept a presence in Antarctica since 1959. The base is used for weather and cosmic research and is staffed through the winter with approx. 10 team members. (Mostly technical and scientific staff)
